Quinn Civil Group is an engineering-led concrete and civil contracting business based on the Sunshine Coast, delivering residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across South East Queensland. Founded by civil engineer Anthony Quinn, QCG brings 15+ years of Tier 1 infrastructure experience to every project, from residential slabs to major civil works.

Why QCG Exists Built to fix a problem that costs head contractors time and money on almost every job.
I’ve spent 15 years on some of Australia’s most demanding civil and infrastructure projects. Defence sites in the Northern Territory. Government facilities in Queensland. Marine works in the Pacific.
And on almost every one of them, I watched the same thing happen.
The contractor would show up, do the work, and disappear. No documentation.
No programme coordination. No understanding of what a missed pour date actually costs a head contractor downstream. The project manager would be left chasing paperwork that didn’t exist and explaining delays that didn’t need to happen.
I started QCG because I knew there was a better way. Not bigger. Not louder. Just more structured, more accountable, and more honest about what concrete delivery actually requires.

Every pour gets a documented pre-pour inspection. Reinforcement checked, levels confirmed, drawings cross-referenced. Not because we have to. Because skipping it is how programmes blow out.
Programme
Certainty If the date changes, you hear it from us first, not when you’re chasing us on a Friday. We’d rather have an uncomfortable conversation on Tuesday than an expensive one at the end of the month.
Owner Accountability
Every job has a named contact and that person has the authority to make decisions. No relay chains, no waiting for someone to check with someone else. You get an answer when you need one.

The QCG Process Straightforward from first conversation to final sign-off.
STEP 1
First call and project review
You describe the project, we ask the right questions. Scope, site, programme, constraints. If it’s not the right fit, we’ll say so before you waste any time.
STEP 2
Scoping and risk review
Before we price anything, we work through the detail. Site access, reinforcement requirements, programme interfaces, drainage, levels, exclusions. We’d rather find the issues here than on pour day.
STEP 3
Your quote
Inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions written out clearly. No fine print. No surprises when the invoice arrives.
STEP 4
Pre-mobilisation
Programme locked in before we set foot on site. SWMS prepared, materials procured, inspections planned. Pour dates confirmed in advance, and you hear from us early if conditions require a change.
STEP 5
On site
Pre-starts every morning. Reinforcement inspected before every pour. Direct communication throughout, not updates filtered through someone who wasn’t there.
STEP 6
Handover
QA documentation complete and ready. ITP sign-offs, pour records, compliance confirmation. Everything you’d expect to hand back to a superintendent, without having to chase it.
